Join us for an unforgettable musical
tour of Europe, starting in Great Britain, where
Mendelssohn captured the sounds and atmosphere of
the sea coast
in “The Hebrides”. The tour continues through
Spain with internationally renowned guest artist Marcin
Dylla’s performance of “Concierto de Aranjuez” and
ends in a splendid finale with one of Mozart’s
most brilliant symphonies, “Prague”,
named after the city whose people were so welcoming
to him.

Our annual Holiday concert event has
become a centerpiece of the community’s seasonal
festivities, and offers musical treats the whole family
will love. The program captures the spirit of the season
with beloved traditional holiday selections, gospel,
and masterpieces by Handel and Mozart – and
features two very special guest artists, Andrea Jones-Sojola,
soprano, and Kenneth Overton, baritone.

The Caprio Young Artists Competition,
held every other year, honors the memory of the late
John-Michael Caprio, founding conductor of the Riverside
Symphonia. In addition to his work as conductor and
music director of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in
New York, Caprio was a former teacher who loved the
mix of music and young people, whether he was exposing
young listeners to classical music for the first time,
or working with talented young performers already preparing
for their own musical careers.
