An evening of vocal virtuosity with Metropolitan Opera soprano Angela Brown and the Riverside Symphonia Chamber Players. Vocal and instrumental works by some of the most famous opera composers, such as Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini, will be paired with a charming set of songs by William Grant Still, dreamy and bluesy selections from Danielpour’s poetic opera “Margaret Garner”, and a soulfull set of popular American Spirituals.
